Did you know?

London Transport Museum is housed in the Grade II-listed original Victorian building, designed as a dedicated flower market by William Rogers and opened in 1871. This iron and glass building formed part of the Covent Garden vegetable, fruit and flower market serving Londoners for exactly 100 years before moving site in 1971. The museum transformed the space when it opened in 1980.
