Alexandra Palace is the iconic North London venue that is surrounded by 196 acres of beautiful parkland, with panoramic views of London. Offering a truly iconic and versatile backdrop with its beautiful setting, stunning architectural features and well-proportioned halls, the Palace is now a very popular choice for both corporate and private events. This Grade II listed entertainment venue has a capacity ranging from 10-10,000 with both indoor and outdoor spaces.
Last year the Alexandra Palace Theatre reopened for the first time in 80 years after a £27 million sensitive restoration project. Travel through time in this venue, as its state of historic decay has been preserved. Showing off the theatre’s cracks and battle scars was a deliberate decision for the project.

Alexandra Palace was originally opened in 1873 but just sixteen days after its opening, the Palace, which had already attracted over 120,000 visitors, was destroyed by a fire in the dome. It was rebuilt in 1875 following the destructive fire however in 1980 a fire broke out across the palace for the second time, burning a large part of the building to the ground. Substantial restoration works began shortly after the fire and the Palace finally re-opened in 1988. It was intended as "The People's Palace" and later nicknamed "Ally Pally".
